Financing is an important part of any energy efficiency retrofit project. There are a number of options available.
Self-funding is the most straightforward option, if you have the money available to pay for the cost of the project.
Home Energy Scotland (HES) provides interest free loans towards the cost of installing energy efficiency measures. Currently, they are also offering grant funding and a combination of grant and loan funding. The amount of grant and loan funding you can apply for depends on what improvements you want to make. Scottish Government grants – Home Energy Scotland (HES) can provide information on all Scottish Government grant funding currently available in Aberdeen city and will be able to check if you meet the criteria for any of this funding. Call HES on 0808 808 2282.
